Everything on this site — cost ranges, calculators, comparisons and guides — is general educational information to help you plan and ask better questions. It is not dental or medical advice, and it is not insurance, legal, tax or financial advice. We are not a dental provider, a dental referral service, an insurer or a lender. Using the site does not create a dentist–patient or any other professional relationship. Always consult a licensed dentist about your diagnosis and treatment, and your insurer or plan administrator about your coverage.

Estimates are not quotes

Cost figures are planning ranges built from the sources described in our methodology. They are not offers, quotes or guarantees, and no dental office is bound by them. Your actual fee depends on your diagnosis, provider, location, materials, insurance and financing, and may fall outside the ranges shown. Calculator results exclude interest unless stated and are illustrations, not financing offers.

Insurance and government programs

Descriptions of insurance plans and public programs, including the Canadian Dental Care Plan, are summaries that may be out of date or may not apply to your situation. Eligibility and coverage are determined solely by the plan or program. Check the official source before making decisions.
